Forest Glen is a suburb in the Sunshine Coast near Buderim. Forest Glen is also the birthplace of Hugh Sawrey, famous Australian artist and founder of the Australian Stockman's Hall of Fame, who was born there in 1919.
The best quilting shop on the sunshine coast is here in a lovely old church. It’s called the Patchwork Angel.It is open: Monday – Friday 9am-4.30pm and Saturday 9am – 2pm. Moonshine valley Winery. Whilst at Forest Glen be sure to take a drive through Tanawha Tourist Drive, where you will find great attractions and wonderful scenery. Meander through Buderim Forest Park with it's beautiful rainforest, barbecue picnic facilities, forest boardwalk, and unique flora and fauna. Forest Glen is also home to a large conference venue.
